National Pharmacies are looking for expressions of interest for customer service focused Optical Dispensers to assist our members and customers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an  Optical Dispenser, you will deliver high level customer service whilst being informative, and providing personalised, quality optical services in a professional environment. With your previous experience as an Optical Dispenser you will  be skilled in assisting our customers with all their eye care solutions from our range of high quality and fashionable products.

As a member of the Optical team you may be required to work a combination of day, evening and weekend shifts. You should possess a reliable vehicle and current driver’s license but most importantly enjoy the variety that comes with working across a number of our locations.  As such, our optical roles will suit individuals who are highly flexible, reliable, and adaptable, and have good availability.

In this role, you will:

• provide friendly and professional customer service and advice
• suggest products that meet customers needs and close the sale
• explain how products work & demonstrating how to use products 
• be committed to attending regular training
• be able to operate a cash register & EFTPOS Facilities.
• manage inventory and ensure displays are merchandised appropriately 
• be flexible to work at different locations

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills, excellent personal and professional presentation, be energetic and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

Experience, skills & attributes:

• outstanding customer service skills
• cash handling & EFTPOS experience
• excellent  communication & interpersonal skills
• ability to work flexible hours
• willingness to supply or undergo a police check prior to commencement
• ideally have a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing, or a willingness to undertake relevant on the job training
• have a current driver's license and reliable motor vehicle
