About The Role Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, working as a Dispensary Technician in our state-of-the-art Dose Administration Aid (DAA) Packing Facility, on a permanent full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Dispense Technician (or a Pharmacy Student) to take the next step in their career and assist our team in providing a critical service to our members and customers across the National Pharmacies network. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will assist with and be responsible for the following; - Assist the pharmacist to ensure our customers’ prescriptions are processed correctly and efficiently using our dispensing software.
- Work proactively as a team to provide efficient and accurate dispensing of medications and DAA packing.
- Carry out preventative maintenance activities on the DAA robot.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels and integrity.
- Preparation of weekly reporting.
- Demonstrate the value of National Pharmacies membership to our customers where appropriate.
About You To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have; - Good technical skills, with the ability to use various computer and dispensary systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work towards deadlines.
- Problem solving skills, with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to continue to learn about the products and services National Pharmacies offers.
- The ability to work effectively in, and positively contribute to, a hard-working team that enjoys having some fun along the way.
- Previous experience working as a Dispensary Technician preferred, Pharmacy students are also encouraged to apply.
